Radio Licensing Services was established in 1995 as a one-person operation providing basic FCC licensing for 2-way radio dealers. Since then we have expanded our services and staff, providing a full complement of FCC Compliance Management Services and radio Technical Services. When you call, you will receive experienced help from professionals who deal with these issues every day. We provide personal service to clients in all 50 states, all US protectorates, and around the world!

Our Licensing Team

Heather James, Licensing Manager

Heather brings over a decade of experience in the wireless industry. She is a customer service zealot with quick response time and an easy-to-work-with personality. If you have licensing challenges, she is the one to call! If you have several licenses to oversee, she is eager to talk to you about our Licensing Management Services.

Dean Ballew, Consulting Licensing Specialist

Dean operated RLS for several years, and has a vast wealth of experience in this area. Dean is now a communications tower site manager with an affiliate company, but we still call on him for help when necessary. His experience provides a unique perspective on the licensing process.

Breanna Kayate, Licensing Specialist

Breanna Kayate came to Day Wireless in July 2012, after 13 years in a related field dealing with other governmental agencies. Since that time, she has become well-versed in the day to day workings of FCC Part 90 licensing, renewals, license modifications, new licenses, Assignments of Authorization, waivers and petitions for reconsideration. In addition, she is familiar with FAA and FCC tower registrations, and 800 MHz licensing.

Elizabeth R. Sachs, Legal Counsel

Ms. Sachs received her Bachelors' degree from Rosemont College in 1971. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Washington College of Law at American University and was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1980. Ms. Sachs is a senior principal in the communications law firm of Lukas, Nace, Gutierrez & Sachs, where she provides regulatory, strategic, and business counsel for wireless operators, enterprise and public safety users, and equipment suppliers. Ms. Sachs is Regulatory Counsel for the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (“EWA”), an organization representing the wireless interests of enterprise users, commercial operators, and equipment suppliers, as well as a frequent lecturer and writer on telecommunications issues. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia, and Federal Communications Bar Association.

Our Design Team

Arnold Ragsdale, Systems Designer

A graduate of Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon, Arnold has over 25 years of experience in RF communications and has overseen commercial and public safety radio projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. His special expertise is with microwave, paging, and console systems. Arnold is Motorola-certified in Centracom II and Quantar systems, site interference, and level setting. He also has experience as a radio site manager.
